Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm.

Removing and installing the bottom trim panel for the tailgate

Removing
– Remove the screw for the spring handle (2.5 Nm).
– Remove the spring handle.
– Level off the trim panel in sequence from the clips -2- with e.g. disassembly wedge 3409.
– Remove the trim panel from the tailgate.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.
– Make sure that it locks securely in the openings.

Removing and installing the top trim panel for the tailgate

Removing
– Removing bottom trim panel for tailgate
– Remove screws -2- (2 Nm).
– Unclip trim from all the clips in sequence.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.

Removing and installing luggage compartment side trim panel

Removing
– Remove rear seat
– Remove the luggage compartment floor.
– Remove panel for tools (depending on equipment).
– Remove the bottom trim panel of pillar C
– Remove top part of side luggage compartment trim panel
– Remove the shim.
– Remove the expanding rivets.
– Disconnect plug for socket (12 V) for trailer coupling switch (depending on vehicle equipment, there may be other equipment as well).
– Take the trim - 1 - out of the vehicle.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.

Removing and installing luggage compartment side trim panel - Top part

Removing
Note: Removal and installation may vary depending on the equipment version.
– Remove the bottom trim panel of pillar C
– Remove lock carrier trim
– Remove the luggage compartment floor.
– Handle with luggage hooks, lashing eyes (depending on equipment fitted)
– Remove screw -2- (2,5 Nm).
– Unclip the panel - 1 - from the clips and remove it from the vehicle.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.

Removing and installing handles with luggage hook

Removing
– Remove cover for screws - 1 -.
– Remove screws -2- (5 Nm).
– Remove handle -3- from the trim panel -4-.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.

Removing and installing bottom C-pillar trim panel

Removing
– Remove rear seat
– Removing body-bound rivet -3-.
– Remove expanding nut -6-.
– Unclip the trim in order from the clips -2- and -4-.
– Take the trim - 1 - out of the vehicle.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.

Removing and installing lock carrier trim

Removing
– Fold up the cover of the luggage compartment floor and if necessary partially remove the raised luggage compartment floor (depending on vehicle equipment).
– Loosen the retaining clips -1- of the trim panel -2-.
– Remove tailgate/luggage compartment cover -2- upwards from lock carrier and take out of the vehicle.

Installing
– The installation occurs in reverse order.
Note: Before the installation, check all the fixing elements for damage, if necessary replace.
– Ensure that the tailgate/luggage compartment cover is located in the double-braided strip of the tailgate seal after the installation.
